Auf Einladung des European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA) fand am 29. und 30. Juni 2017 der European Excellence Summit statt. Die Mitglieder der ECCIA repräsentieren ca. 400 führende europäische Marken aus 14 unterschiedlichen High-End-Produkt- und Dienstleistungsmärkten und stellen ca. 80% des globalen High-End-Marktes dar. In Berlin diskutierten die Teilnehmer und Referenten wie der Vizepräsident des Europäischen Parlamentes Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, EU-Kommissarin Elzbieta Bienkowska und Dr. Christian Ehler, MEP,  die aktuellen Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen der Branche.  Klaus Schweinsberg moderierte den Summit. European Excellence Summit

At the invitation of the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA), 80 presidents and CEOs from the companies members of the ECCIA  gathered in Berlin on 29 and 30 June 2017 for the European Excellence Summit. Together with EU officials the ECCIA discussed the specificities of the European High-end sector and important challenges. Among the speakers were Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, Vice-president of the European Parliament, Elzbieta Bienkowska, EU Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs as well as MEP Christian Ehler.
