Annual Meeting of Confesercenti 2015

On September 18th Klaus Schweinsberg delivered a keynote speech at the annual meeting of the italian association of traders (Confesercenti) in Perugia. In front of 200 italian entrepreneurs, representatives from institutions and the media, Klaus Schweinsberg spoke about “SME and Social Media – Threat or Opportunity?”.

For the sixth time Deutsche Telekom’s CEO Timotheus Höttges gathered international top-leaders at the 24 Hours conference. Among the speakers were Sebastian Thrun, CEO and Cofounder of Udacity and Stanford-Professor, Andrew McAfee, Author of “The Second Machine Age“ and Co-director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, Nick Bostrom, Philosoph, Director of the Institute for the Future of Humanity at Oxford University and author of “Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies” as well as Jay Rogers, Co-Founder of Local Motors and the former swedish Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Carl Bildt. Klaus Schweinsberg acted again as moderator of the event.

Exclusive Tutorial 2015

The 5th Exclusive Tutorial (Privatissimum) for (young) Boards of Directors and Boards of Advisers took place in June at Castle Ehreshoven close to Cologne. Speaker of the two-day intensive seminar included among others Michael Behrendt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG, Stephan Gemkow, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH as well as Professor Klaus-Peter Müller, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG.

Reception at the Albertina Palace

The question from Klaus Schweinsberg in his keynote at the reception of the Hypo Landesbank Vorarlberg was “”Europe – Quo Vadis?””. On the 12th May 2015 he presented his provocative analysis of the top current economic issues to an audience of approximately 200 Austrian entrepreneurs in the prestigious hall of the Muses at the Albertina Palace in Vienna.

Munich Security Conference 2015

Klaus Schweinsberg and Marco Gercke, Director Cybercrime Research Institute (picture), presented two Real Time Cyber Incident Simulations at the Munich Security Conference, taking place from February 6th to 8th 2015. The simulations were exclusively designed for high level government and private sector decision makers participating at Munich Security Conference. They included some of the most recent attacks and were followed by a de-briefing.
